Ordering and Member Discounts Information
Current Members of the North Carolina Museum of Art enjoy a 10% discount on items purchased on our online store. This discount does not apply to the purchase of memberships, gift certificates, sale items, consignment pieces or shipping fees.
After filling your shopping cart, please enter your Membership number in the required field. When your order is being processed, your Membership number will be confirmed and your discount applied. Please be aware that your on-line Store total will not reflect a Member discount – it will be applied during processing.
Order Cancellation Policy
Please submit any cancellation via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or call on our business phone at (919) 664-6867.
Email cancellations must contain the following: First name, last name, order number, and email address. This information must be identical to the information originally submitted on your order. Please provide contact information so that we may contact you if we have questions in regards to canceling your order.
Every effort will be made to accommodate the cancellation of your order, providing your order has not been charged and/or shipped out. In the event that a cancellation was submitted (via email or phone), and your order was shipped out after, we will gladly refund the complete balance charged including shipping. However, if the cancellation was documented as received after the order was shipped, we will refund the merchandise total less shipping.
Shipping Information and Charges
Most orders ship within one to three business days via UPS Ground within the continental United States. For express delivery or orders shipping to Alaska or Hawaii, please telephone the Online Store during regular business hours for correct shipping rates and delivery times. UPS delivery requires a complete street address and phone number—no PO Boxes, please.
The Online Store does not currently accept orders shipping to outside the United States.

The North Carolina Museum of Art is a division of the North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources. Sales from the Museum of Art Stores are exempt from sales tax under North Carolina GS 105-164-13 (34). Proceeds from our sales go to support programs and the North Carolina Museum of Art.
Any item in original condition and packaging presented with a receipt or proof of purchase may be returned within three (3) weeks of purchase for a refund or an exchange. Items returned with receipt or proof of purchase between 21 and 60 days of purchase date will receive store credit. Items sold within the last 60 days that are returned without a receipt or proof of purchase receive lowest selling price store credit minus 20% restocking fee. Please include the receipt and packing list with all returns. Shipping charges are nonrefundable. For damaged or defective items, please contact our Online Store at (919) 664-6867 or email@example.com for further instructions before returning any merchandise.
